Marius Maldavvis, squad leader of the most elite royal elven dragonriders, is put at the forefront of tensions between the largest elven kingdom he serves in the Great Realm and a growing human empire in the west. As the conflict escalates, the king’s orders put him in harm’s way against the chaos of fallen gods and imperial riders. Those same gods conspired many millennia ago to direct the fate of the kingdom and install their own king after the first was assassinated at the beginning of elven civilization, changing it forever.
What resulted was the beginning of a revenge plot over thousands of years, one finally unfolding in the present day where the squad of dragonriders is caught between the wiles of an empire, vengeful gods, and king and kingdom where Marius and his squad must fulfill the oath they swore…no matter the consequences.
